Final project Installation

 I ended up doing my project on the concept of , playing with black and white, and color photos. When creating this concept of creepy or uneasy photos I was really thinking about what I should take a photo of to give off that concept or feeling. I decided that I was going to go around campus at night and take photos when no one is around to make the campus and also the park seem like a deserted area. I think in most of the photos it gave off that creepy or uneasy photo feeling. It was not an easy task to do because one of the major problems I ran into was how the lighting was going to play a big role. Some of the photos I took turned out way to dark, and some of the photos turned out way too light. I also had some issues with my film camera, so I had. to do all of my photos on my phone so that made it difficult to tell how much lighting there needed to be and how much darkness there needed to be in the photo. Some of the photos thought turned out exactly how I wanted them to turn out. Overall I think that this project was fun to do and also really challenging at times but I enjoyed that challenge.

Native American how they are portrayed in the media What i wanted to talk about for the last project is how the media portrayed Native Americans for quite awhile. Now the media and people have changed their opinions cause the media started to actually portray Native Americans in a good way. Mock up report

     So I still want to create a portfolio. When thinking about it more I want to play with the concept of black and white, and color photos now when creating this concept of creepy or uneasy photos, I really want to play with how I could make a color photo and a black and white one have the same uneasy feeling and recently I went around campus with my Nikon camera and I was trying to use harsh lighting and deep shadows to try to create the dramatic contrasts, an d I am thinking about getting those developed this weekend or next week. I am hoping that all the photos turned out the way I planned but if not I can alway retake them. For the color photos I am thinking about using d esaturate colors or to try to distort my photo to a muted color. I am thinking of using photoshop to try to get that feeling in the colored photos. What is the Future

"future because he is the only person aware of the nature of the present."In this video I wanted to make this notion that time is slowed down and people stopped with the pandemic. We slowed down time with this whole pandemic. Businesses have closed down, streets have been shut down. The streets are empty. It makes me feel creeped out because when you walk down the street it feels creepy cause usually Lawrence University on the sidewalks, especially on sunny days, beginning around 7 or 5 p.m., when the students working from there dorms can finally shut their laptops and engage in opportunity for outdoor exercise but now they don't walk at that time or have time, or are to afraid to. Do you think it will get back to normal? Who knows?
